iCIDM · COLLEAGUE BETA 0.1

31 years of CIDM — explore it as a living scientific institution

You do not need to learn the whole iSydney architecture first. Start with a paper, pathogen, technology, person, period or question and follow the relationships.

Search / Explore → Follow relationships → Check evidence → Notice a gap → Ask a better question → Return to CIDM Reality
Colleague Beta boundary: publication counts and source-derived classifications are working research data. “Observed”, “candidate”, “reviewed”, and “validated” are intentionally different states. A corpus pattern is not automatically an institutional capability or scientific conclusion.

What can I do here?

Try these first

Important beta boundary

This is a research prototype. Explorer relationships can be candidates; Navigator roads require stronger review. Publication absence does not mean Reality absence. Unknowns and gaps require domain review before interpretation.

What we want colleagues to notice

Is something missing? Is a relationship wrong? Is terminology outdated? Does a historical capability have another name? Is there an old dataset or question worth revisiting? Those corrections are not merely website feedback—they are part of iCIDM's Reality Return.

Publication Package Bridge: follow the current 1,947 unique-work master and its versioned provenance; legacy 2,231 discovery-derived analyses remain historical branches.

P0 RECOVERY ASSEMBLY

The core CIDM tools are back in one package

RECOVERED · KNOWLEDGE → JOURNEY → CAPABILITY

The 31-year corpus can now be explored at several scales

RELEASE STATUS · P0 COMPLETE / P1 STARTED

Core colleague route recovered

21 colleague-facing pages were checked. Current internal-link audit found 13 remaining broken-link occurrences within this beta-facing set.

P1 has started: key pages now carry a common boundary explaining that observed ≠ candidate ≠ reviewed ≠ validated.

SCIENTIFIC INTEGRITY PASS · v1.0

Every important statement now has a reading rule

Before colleagues interpret a graph, journey, gap or future direction, the site distinguishes corpus observation from candidate interpretation, human review, validation and proposal.

Open Scientific Integrity Legend →

DAY 1 · CLAIM REGISTER

Public claims are becoming auditable objects

The first pass extracted 338 candidate quantitative/state-bearing statements. They now have IDs, page provenance, boundary fields and review status.

Open iCIDM Claim Register v1.0 →

HIGH-IMPACT CLAIMS · REVIEW PASS 1

Release-critical statements now have evidence bindings

The first 30 high-impact claims have been separated from the larger review queue and assigned explicit evidence/boundary/release states.

Open High-Impact Claim Review →

DAY 2 · CORPUS QA

The legacy 2,231-record discovery branch is auditing itself

Structural checks are strong, while taxonomy checks have surfaced historical classification flags that should be reviewed before headline interpretation.

Open Corpus QA Dashboard →

DAY 2 · CLASSIFICATION CALIBRATION

Two real taxonomy problems are now reviewable experiments

Early-WGS and pre-COVID combined-theme flags are now separated into AI prereview queues with explicit HI/domain review gates.

Open Classification Calibration Lab →

REALITY METABOLISM · IMPACT SIMULATION

Classification changes now have measurable downstream effects

A cloned legacy 2,231-record branch shows how two taxonomy corrections propagate into typed routes and Knowledge Journey counts without touching the canonical corpus.

Open Calibration Impact Simulation →

PROPOSED METHOD · RSI v0.1

Representation Sensitivity is now measurable

The first bounded perturbation produced an experimental RSI of 13.8. The value is comparative and provisional, but the method lets us quantify how representation changes propagate into relationships and journeys.

Open Representation Sensitivity Index →

METHOD FREEZE · SIP-RPE-001 v0.1

Representation perturbation is now a reproducible protocol

The first CIDM calibration experiment has been generalized into a 10-step protocol with canonical-data protection, measurable outputs and explicit HI/domain review.

Open SIP-RPE-001 →

RPE-CIDM-002 · UNKNOWN CALIBRATION

“Unknown” has been split into different scientific states

The 1,471 pathogen-unspecified/mixed records now test classifier gaps, mixed scope, non-applicable labels, insufficient evidence and genuine Reality unknowns.

Open RPE-CIDM-002 →

UNKNOWN GATE · U1–U5

iCIDM now asks why it does not know

Gaps no longer jump directly to “new scientific question.” They first pass through representation, multiplicity, scope and evidence checks before Reality Unknown promotion.

Open Unknown Gate →

QUESTION QUALITY EXPERIMENT

Candidate questions now face a promotion gate

The first conservative test held all current gap-generated candidates before U5 promotion: useful hypotheses remain visible, but none is automatically called a Reality Unknown.

Open Question Quality Experiment →

SICO-ATTN-001 · ATTENTION ECONOMY

Qualified questions now compete for scarce human attention

A transparent triage layer ranks what deserves a short audit next while explicitly separating workflow priority from scientific importance.

Open Attention Economy →

GLOBAL EVIDENCE RESOLUTION GATE

Before CIDM researches a question, ask whether the world already answered it

The first three high-attention candidate questions were globally checked and all three were substantially resolved. iCIDM now treats this as successful external learning and reformulation, not failure.

Open Global Evidence Resolution Gate →

GLOBAL RESOLUTION · FIRST COHORT COMPLETE

9 generated questions → 0 direct U5 promotions

All nine initial gap-generated questions have now been checked against global public evidence. 7 are substantially resolved globally and 2 need narrower reformulation; none should proceed in its original form as a new CIDM research project.

SICO-KG-001 · KNOWLEDGE GAIN

The legacy 2,231-record branch can become a knowledge-and-capability trajectory

The first pilot annotates six kinds of marginal knowledge gain without collapsing them into a simplistic impact score.

Open Knowledge Gain Pilot →

SICO-KG-002 · EVIDENCE-LINKED GAIN

Candidate knowledge gain is now connected to later CIDM work

The 24-paper pilot now checks whether each candidate sits inside a continuing pathogen/technology/theme road, while keeping continuity distinct from causality.

Inspect why a relationship exists, its evidence state, review status, and Navigator promotion gate.
v5.5 · Reality Return

Colleagues can now teach iCIDM

Review a candidate relationship or question and record Confirm · Correct · Reject · Needs Evidence · Create Question · Create Experiment. Decisions are preserved first as review records; canonical promotion remains governed.

Open Reality Return Review Workbench → · Review Register

v5.6 Learning Engine · Turn Reality Return reviews into governed Lesson Candidates →
v5.7 · Better Observation

Promoted lessons can now guard future observations.

Rule Engine → Observation Guard → Universal Explorer. Advisory checks remain separate from source data and canonical graph mutation.

Two first stops

1 · Your paper. Find a paper you know in the Publication Explorer and open its Passport.

2 · iReview. Try the iReview route on a paper you know well.

After those two, explore anything else you wish. Support is not required. Criticism, correction, disagreement and suggestions are welcome.

Use it. Challenge it. Correct it. Tell us what you would change.

CIDM-PH Human Gate · Reality Return

Please use iCIDM honestly — support is not required. We welcome criticism, corrections, disagreement and suggestions as well as positive feedback.

Start with your papers and iReview, then tell us anything you notice anywhere in the Observatory: wrong, missing, unclear, overstated, difficult to use, useful, or worth building next.

Feedback → source check → evidence/status review → warranted correction → versioned update.

“Use it. Challenge it. Correct it. Tell us what you would change.”
