Challenge C508

Authors, researchers and readers are invited to challenge us. If we have misunderstood, oversimplified, misclassified, or missed an important source or piece of evidence, please tell us.

What happens to feedback?

RECEIVED → identity/source trace → evidence return → review/discussion → ACCEPT / REJECT / HOLD / UNKNOWN → version event only when warranted → QA.

Submitting criticism never changes the canonical C508 database automatically. Author feedback is exceptionally important representation evidence, but it is not by itself empirical or ontological truth. Rejected and unresolved challenges may remain part of the auditable history.

Review boundary: a challenge may trigger iReview. It becomes a Case only when case-specific review demonstrates a reusable issue; a Case-derived Lesson is created only when that lesson is supported by the reviewed case. Broader HI–AI learning principles remain a separate provenance layer.

Feedback is collected for review. It is not automatically published and does not automatically alter C508.

For theory authors

We especially welcome corrections to how your own work is represented. Agreement with C508 is not requested. A response such as “you have represented my view incorrectly” is valuable scientific input.

For Kuhn / LoC / Closer To Truth and other colleagues

If useful, please feel free to share this Observatory with theory authors and relevant researchers. The purpose is to invite inspection and criticism, not endorsement.
