# CIDM historical 2,224 source note

The earlier workbook `CIDM_Publication_Intelligence_1995_2026.xlsx` remains preserved as historical lineage.
Its dashboard reports a 2,224 publication 1995–2026 window. It is NOT the current numeric source.

Current website numeric authority for the CIDM publication population is:
`CIDM_Publication_Intelligence_1995_2026_2231_CUMULATIVE_AUTHOR_EMAIL_MASTER_v1_7_STAFF_ONLY.xlsx` = 2,231 records.

Do not overwrite historical values merely to make old artifacts appear current.
