# CIDM 2,231 Priority Update v1

This release prioritizes the CIDM gate for the pre-Thursday demonstration.

## Current population
- 2,231 publications
- 2,231 unique PMIDs
- authoritative source: CIDM 2231 staff-only cumulative master

## Implemented
- Publication Explorer's embedded population replaced with all 2,231 master records.
- Current Data Hub now exposes a compact connected-output panel linking Explorer, current tables, annual figure and reuse concordances.
- One-page User Guide reinforces the database → paper → figure/table/PPT → Observatory connection and author/colleague Reality Return route.
- Historical 2,224 assets remain preserved as lineage.

## Not changed
- C508 scientific state or denominator.
- Q789 scientific state.
- Historical website releases.
- Scientific claims merely because the population number changed.

## Working principle
Update the controlled master first; regenerate derived views; preserve older views as historical lineage; release when coherent rather than waiting for artificial completeness.
